Crossway Chapel

Leading People into a Growing Relationship
with Jesus!
A
Place For…
Loving
God First — We
seek to love Jesus Christ with all our hearts, soul, mind, and
strength.
And He said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all
your heart and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the
great and foremost commandment.” (Matthew 22:37-38)
At Crossway Chapel of Greeley, everything we do comes from an ever-deepening
love for Jesus Christ, and a desire to see that love spread to those
around us. We desire to cultivate a daily, personal relationship with
our Lord and Savior that transforms our hearts and is put on display
in our relationships. We value a love for the Lord that overflows into
everything that we do.
Acceptance — A safe place to bring
your joys, struggles and friends.
“Take care brethren that there not be in any one of you an evil,
unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God. But encourage
one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today” so
that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.” (Hebrews
3:12-13)
At Crossway Chapel of Greeley, we value experiencing
life together with all its ups and downs. We don’t want to be a place where you have
to put on your Sunday best smile and pretend that you have no troubles.
We understand that people grow through times of blessing and times of
challenges and hardship, and we want to walk through all those things
together. We seek authentic, transparent relationships with the Lord
and with each other, understanding that the gospel still brings hope
when we need it most. Acceptance doesn’t mean that we take a light
view of sin, but that we seek to come along side fellow sinners in a
God-honoring, life-restoring way.
Growth — Side by side, we grow
as we pursue the truth and love of Christ.
“And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and
good deeds.” (Hebrews 10:24)
At Crossway Chapel of Greeley, we believe that God desires us to grow
more like Christ every day. Growth happens in the context of relationships
where hearts are poured into, burdens are shared, and lives are changed.
Devotion — We
invest our personal lives in the vitality of the larger Church Family.
“Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference
to one another in honor.” (Romans 12:10)
At Crossway Chapel of Greeley we believe that
the health of the body depends on the dedication of every member. We
value a culture of community
where individual needs or preferences give way to the vitality of the
church as a whole and where believers understand their responsibility
and commitment to each other. Scripture is full of loving imperatives
to devote our daily lives to one another and challenges us to be devoted
to more than just “Sunday morning Christianity.”
Discipleship — We value multiplying
who we are and what we have in Jesus.
“And Jesus came up and spoke to them saying, ‘All authority
has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples
of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the
Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded
you; and lo, I m with you always, even to the end of the age.’” (Matthew
28:18-20)
At Crossway Chapel of Greeley we believe that multiplication is meant
to happen in every area of church and Christian life. We value teaching
our body to look for places to grow and people to grow with us. We believe
the church is the place for growing leaders, servants, and disciples,
all with the hope of sending them out to plant new churches that will
grow more leaders, servants, and disciples. We see this as the biblical
way to reach our lost world.
