Leading People into a Growing Relationship
with
Jesus!
COLLEGE MINISTRY...
Blessed are those who hunger
and
thirst for righteousness
for they shall be satisfied
Matthew 5:6

"To
make seeking the salvation of my soul
the main business of my life"
Jonathan Edwards (1705-1758)
Where on the list of priorities is the salvation of your soul?
What is the purpose of Resolved?
The purpose of Resolved is for us to be joyfully determined to glorify
the Triune God by being transformed into the image of Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 3:18 "But
we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory
of the Lord, are being transformed into
the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit."
Romans 8:29 "..He also
predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son.."
It doesn't matter if you just came to have a personal relationship
with the Lord Jesus Christ or if you have been walking with the Lord
for 30 years the goal is the same for all, to glorify the Lord by
being transformed into Christlikeness.
Whatever consumes us we will be conformed to. As believers we should
be consumed by our Lord Jesus Christ, He should be our highest pursuit
and treasur in life. The more we are consumed by Jesus the more we
will love, serve, show mercy, listen, teach, pray, proclaim the gospel,
admonish and be joyful like Him. What a powerful testimony.
How we live our purpose
Resolved: To trust the Holy Bible as inerrant and sufficient navigation for
all of life
Resolved: To proclaim salvation through the gospel of Jesus Christ alone
Resolved: To be empowered by the Holy Spirit to live out our faith daily in
every area of our lives.
What is the vision of Resolved?
By conforming to our Lord Jesus Christ we are propelled as His
worshippers and witnesses to take the gospel and His love to our
neighbors and world through preaching of the Holy Scriptures, prayer,
discipleship and fellowship. (John 4:23-24, Luke 24:46-49, Acts 1:8,
Acts 4:42)
