MINISTRY
Children’s Sunday Celebration (Ages 2-12)
At Crossway Chapel of Greeley children
are important to us. We believe that the Lord begins to call kids
to Himself at a young age. Our
hearts’ desire is to see children saved and growing in their
walk with Jesus, and to see parents equipped to foster that relationship
throughout the week.
At Crossway Chapel of Greeley, worshipping
the Lord as a family is very important to us. During Sunday morning
service, kids stay
with their parents during our time of worship and then the younger
kids are released to our children’s programs. Older children
are encouraged to remain in the main service and be taught with the
body.
There are currently two programs in place
to equip and serve families. The first group is geared for the
younger children (ages 3-6). These
kids are placed in an environment that introduces God’s wonderful
character through the great stories of the Bible, in both Old and
New Testaments, and encourages them to discover a friendship with
Jesus through New Testament lessons. Kids are given time to play,
sing, and do age appropriate crafts and activities.
The second group (ages 7-12) focuses on
presenting the Gospel in creative (very creative) ways. The Bible
comes to life as kids learn
about the world as it was in biblical times. Kids will cultivate
an appreciation for God’s Word and learn how to navigate the
Bible on their own.
We believe that God’s love can be
wonderfully displayed in the hearts of our kids. He loves them
and has a plan for their lives,
we look forward to being a part of that plan.
